Sumon Naskar : Painter
I have found the life in lines since my childhood. I was born in Kolkata. The Bengali culture, motion of city life, human emotions. relationships are the frameworks of my paintings. The way the Bengali culture celebrates the eternal power of a woman in the form of Devi Durga or Kali, always fascinates me. In addition, the vintage chalchitra and pattachitra of Bengal depicts some mystic mythological stories, stirs the very core of my mind. Women are always a source of inspiration in my life. I love to paint them in my own signature style with warm and bright colours in order to express their emotions in a profound way on white canvas. Every painting I do is a journey to me, a journey to delve my inner soul.
