Sukanta Das : Bachelor of Visual Arts

Sukanta Das, born and based in Kolkata, West Bengal, a National Scholarship awardee – Ministry of Human Resource, Govt. of India, completed B.V.A. [Bachelor of Visual Arts] from Rabindra Bharati University in 1996, as a rank holder.

Artist Sukanta Das has had 31 successful solo shows. Some very notable ones being – India Habitat Centre, New Delhi; Art Land Gallery, Dubai & Mumbai; Jehangir Art Gallery, Mumbai; Lalit Kala Academy, Delhi; Dhoomimal City Gallery, Delhi; ICA Art Gallery, Jaipur; Alternative Art Gallery, Gurgaon; Alankritha Art Gallery, Hyderabad; Renessance Art Gallery, Pune; Daira Art Gallery, Hyderabad; & Master’s Collection Art Gallery, Kolkata. With participations in numerous art camps and more than a 100 group shows under his belt, his works have gained prominence on the global forefront, in Galleries and International Art Fairs, including Dubai, California, Jakarta, Japan and Singapore alongside India.

His creations have adorned the walls of countless art connoisseurs and private and corporate collectors.
