Sanchita Ganguly: Painter and Poet
🎨 The Artistic Odyssey: My foray into the world of art began in the tender years of childhood, under the enlightened mentorship of the distinguished maestro Mr. Anup Giri, whose guidance first awakened the painter within me. Over the years , by observing the works of many talented artists, I gradually taught myself and improved my skills.
My work is a deeply personal exploration of the human psyche, often rendered through figurative expressions that marry form and color with poetic subtlety. Through each brushstroke, I attempt to articulate the fragile equilibrium between emotion and the natural world, seeking beauty in vulnerability and truth in silence.
📘 Academic Sojourn & Vocational Transformation: Armed with a Bachelor’s degree in English Literature from the venerable University of Calcutta (1998), I initially charted a professional course through the realm of E-commerce and corporate software development. Years passed within the structured corridors of the digital world, yet the gentle pull of the canvas grew ever stronger.
Eventually, heeding the call of my true calling, I relinquished my corporate career to surrender wholly to the world of painting—a pursuit that speaks directly to my soul.
